This fund does not track the whole world like the preferred Vanguard FTSE All-World fund. Additionally, it has been created recently (February 2019) so its trading volume isn’t high. It is 46% cheaper than the Vanguard FTSE All-World fund.

Technically, if you use the single fund option and invest in a fund tracking the MSCI World or FTSE Developed Word index you are not investing in the whole world but in the developed world.

The developed world represents 88-90% of the whole world. A fund tracking a developed world index is a good enough approximation for investors with small portfolios that need to save on brokerage fees and fund fees.

The funds tracking the MSCI World and FTSE Developed World indexes are cheaper than the funds tracking the FTSE All-World index.

There are also funds that track the MSCI ACWI36 index - a competitor of the FTSE All-World index that tracks world equities - but they are too expensive. These funds have TERs are higher than 0.4% therefore, they were excluded.
